Girotondo



WHO?
Founded by a group of Italian mothers, Il Girotondo follows the successful format of British parent and toddler playgroups with the use of songs  and nursery rhymes. The playgroup aims to give young children the opportunity to learn and practice Italian whilst playing and having fun.
 
CHI?

Il Girotondo, fondato da un gruppo di mamme italiane, prende spunto dai gruppi di gioco inglesi con canzoni, fiabe, filastrocche e giochi per bambini fino ai 4 anni. Lo scopo principale de Il Girotondo e’ di dare ai bambini la possibilita’ di imparare divertendosi la lingua italiana.

WHEN?
The meetings will take place every Monday afternoon (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 13-10-8 and 10-11-08) between 16:00 and 17:00 at Ross Street Community Centre, Cambridge, CB1 3UZ.
TWO meetings only will take place on Saturday 18-10-08 and 15-11-08 at Romsey Mill, Hemingford Road, Cambridge, CB1 3BZ.
 
QUANDO?
Gli incontri avranno luogo il lunedi pomeriggio (ECCETTO il 13-10-08 ed il 10-11-08) dalle 16:00 alle 17:00 al Ross Street Community Centre, Cambridge, CB1 3UZ.
DUE incontri soltanto si terranno sabato 18-10-08 e 15-11-08 dalle 10:00 alle 11:00 al Romsey Mill, Hemingford Road, Cambridge, CB1 3BZ.
 
WHAT?
The hour is divided in 3 parts dedicated to songs, nursery rhymes and games. Each selection is led by one of the parents who organises the activities to encourage the children to speak Italian and to hear the language from a native speaker.
 
COME?
L'ora di gioco e' divisa in 3 parti dedicate rispettivamente a canzoni, favole e giochi. Ogni sezione e' condotta da uno dei genitori che organizza le attivita' con lo scopo di incoraggiare i bambini a parlare in italiano e ad ascoltare la lingua parlata da un madrelingua.
